Bulgogi Lamb Chops for Father’s Day

Father’s Day is this weekend (21st June)! What plans do you have with your dads? Well, a home-cooked meal is always a great idea, after all, the way to a man’s heart is their stomach, right?

Here’s a recipe that would certainly please the dads out there – Bulgogi Lamb Chops. Frozen lamb chops are on promotion until 21st June 2020 at Village Grocer, so why not try your hands on this tasty recipe?

Ingredients

1kg Pure South Frenched Lamb Rack

 

Marinade ingredients

100g Sliced onion

10g Chopped spring onion

2 Diced de-seeded red chilli

500g Korean Bulgogi sauce

100g Peeled and cored Korean pear

 

Dipping sauce ingredients

1 tbsp Soy sauce

1 tbsp Vinegar

2 tbsp Water

½ tsp Sugar

½ tsp Dashi powder

1 tbsp Korean chilli flakes

1 tbsp Toasted sesame seed

 

Directions

  1. Blend pear in a food processor
  2. Divide the rack into chops
  3. Mix marinade ingredients and marinate the lamb chops
  4. Refrigerate marinated chops overnight
  5. Mix dipping sauce ingredients
  6. Grill each side of the rack cutlet for about 3 minutes till caramelised
  7. Baste chops with the marinade
  8. Serve with dipping sauce
